“The staff was very friendly and eager to help. I had brief interactions with at least 5 different employees and they were all great. The warm cookie at check in was delicious. The staff and yummy cookie were the highlights and only reasons for the 2nd star. The location and close proximity to the highway was nice for our purposes but that can be said about most hotels. Overall the hotel is dated and not very clean. My room was prepped but not exactly what I would call clean. There were stains and residue on the desk and bathroom counter. The shower head was so low on the wall I had to duck to rinse my head. I am only 5'9" so that has never been a problem before. The desk chair was disgusting with multiple stains of God knows what on the seat. There was also trash in the stairwells. The mattress seemed old and a bit soft, especially considering the claims of having the most comfortable beds you can find. Only 1 of the 3 elevators was working and it was extremely slow, even with hotel staff operating it. It was less painful to lug our stuff up and down 5 flights of stairs than to wait in line for 10+ minutes for the elevator. It seems like this location was nice at some point in time, but that time is long gone. Not worth the price and does not live up to the Hilton reputation in my opinion.”
