I booked king size room in the lounge floor. The room is beautiful and spacious. The washroom is huge and newly renovated. However, there were dust in few hidden spots including the closest’s shelves. The open buffet restaurant wasn’t for us. It serves mainly Chinese food that we don’t like. The staff are extremely nice but many of them speak poor English or don’t speak at all. The lobby doesn’t have enough seating areas unless you go to the tea room. The washrooms in the lobby are disgusting and weren’t cleaned for days. The location is great and there is small mall connected to the 2nd floor. Don’t miss the Thai restaurant called Lime. It is very nice.

This hotel is great for business travellers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms huge and include all amenities needed. The concierge was always helpful when we had questions. The breakfast offer was high, I was missing however a higher variety of fruits. The gym is very huge and never too busy. Around the hotel there are great restaurants, shopping malls etc. and the metro is around the corner. Wifi could have worked a little faster. Ask for a room on a higher floor to enjoy the nice view!

The hotel room was very warm 23-25c. I slept poorly as a result of this and the old wiry mattress. The room had a noisy evaporative fan that made the room muggy and did nothing to cool the room. I wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice.

Boycott all hotels of this group. Me and family stayed at Orchard hotel Singapore to celebrate our silver jubilee anniversary. One of the hotel staff entered our room for two consecutive days at around 7:30 am. My wife had nervous breakdown by seeing stranger in the room, when she was half asleep. He might have harmed us or maybe there for burglary. My request for medical assistance was unheard by the hotel staff and I was told that hotel staff has right to enter the guest rooms. I consulted one doctor there, by my own, he advised my wife to take complete rest. I had to return back in between the trip. Since then my wife is not well. I again went to Singapore in the month of September but this time for my wife's treatment. We were given complementary stay at Copthorn,after I threaten to report this matter on social media. There I requested the hotel management to send executive to visit the hospital to meet the doctors as they also wanted to know the name of hotel and meet the hotel executive before starting treatment. But hotel management denied. We came back without treatment. As hotel management is not concerned about my wife's health, why should I be concerned about their reputation. My wife is still not well. Hotel management is not interested in giving us any support, I need no cash support. But now we have decided to file police complaint and file suit in the court against the hotel management. We will submit all evidences there only. We have suffered great health loss, monetary loss and wasted precious time. Please boycott all hotels of this group

Less than 100m away from the metro station. Location is excellent with a shopping mall next door and eating places are aplenty. Could not locate a convenience store nearby until much later. The facilities in the room are a bit dated although the room is very clean. Breakfast options are good although most dishes are Chinese/Asian.

Rooms are large with very comfortable beds. All rooms are non smoking. My stay comes with breakfast but the breakfast is really mediocre. Hotel has a swimming pool and a very good gym (see photo)! Do note that if you intend to swim, you will have to get a swimming cap as all china swimming pool requires it. They do sell it at the counter though. Location is fantastic as its right next to a subway station.
